nick & norah’s infinite playlist

For my Nick & Norah cover, I wanted to emphasize the distance between the two main characters while also how connected they are. I wanted to hint at streetlights in the night time with the color palette of that soft orangey-yellow.

dash & lily’s book of dares

I knew the minute I started this cover, I wanted to include the infamous red moleskin journal. To continue to my link of contour drawing, I felt a handing off of the journal from Dash to Lily (or vice versa) would work extremely well. I wanted to try and fit the entire title on the book cover, but the way Dash’s name filled up the journal so nicely just didn’t allow for me to do that! I love how this cover came out.
